Description

While waiting for an object to clear the trees for an AL program, I turned my attention to the Moon. The Lunar X and V were visible. I hadn't planned to take photos, so this shot was taken with an iPhone X at the eyepiece of a Starmaster 11. 8/25/2020 at 8:45 PM EDT. Interestingly, the Moon was 53% full. The X is described as best seen just before the Moon is 50% full, but this timing is not consistent. It's best to look up when these"letters" will appear to observe them.
