Description

Taken from Aramesh Observatory in Clyde, NC during a brief respite from the clouds. In our mountains, clear, fog-less nights are rare. So I have, by necessity, gotten very good at single exposure, largely unprocessed shots with my DSLR (laziness may also contribute to my technique). I think many of us in the amateur astronomy world would take photos is we knew what can be accomplished with a few tips and some decent equipment!
