Description

This image was taken at the Univerity of Central Floridas Robinson Observatory by UCF Astronomy Society members Paul Gardner and Oscar Robayna. This was the first light image with our new TEC 140. TEC 140 piggybacked on a 26 inch SCT SBIG ST-8/CFW-8 L(LRGB) 10:10:10:10 minutes The Luminance layer was made using addition for the nebula and median combine of the same set of data for the detail in the inner trapezium region. Data was also used from images taken with a 8 inch meade SCT. The luminance was then used over a luminance enhanced RGB image. Aligning and stacking of images in CCDsoft. Final layering and processing in Photoshop 7.0. Noise Reduction in Pleiades SGBNR.
