Description

This photo is a jpeg stack of 10 images of M31. Each image was 5 minutes in duration at ISO 250. The scope used was a Takahashi FSQ-106 (the older version) at prime focus. The camera used was the new Canon 6D MKII. I captured several RAW images but the software I use is not up to date with converting these images to FITS files. It seems that when a new model of camera is released, the existing software lags behind a bit. Hopefully, more detail can be realized when I have a chance to stack RAW images in lieu of JPEGS.
