Why will every SCT user own one of these soon? This very important Denkmeier innovation allows an owner of an F/10 SCT to have a focal reducer and Barlow incorporated into a top quality 2" Star Diagonal. This means that 3 instant magnifcations with a single eyepiece is at your fingertips. A 35mm Widefield 2" eyepiece suddenly becomes a 60mm 2" eyepiece. Move the reducer arm to "OUT" and it reverts back to a 35mm eyepiece. Move the opposite Power x Switch Arm to the "IN" position and it becomes a 17.5mm eyepiece. In a few years, these diagonals will be standad equipment with all F/10 SCTs. Includes the 2" Power x Switch Diagonal #S1, 2"/1.25" eyepiece adapter, thread-on SCT visual back which fits all SCTs from 8"-16" in diameter. Comes with an engraved aluminum eyepiece holder plug and a 2" machined aluminum sealing cap for the telescope side diagonal tube.

Exceptional Quality

The diagonal housings and mirrors are produced specifically for Denkmeier Optical by Willaim Optics. The modular nature of the William Optics diagonal plus the outstanding attention to detail convinced us that a joint effort would result in a very amazing product. The mirrors on all Denkmeier Power x Switch Diagonals are figured to a Lamda/10 flatness and are 10mm thick.

The Power x Switch

The Power x Switches feature 2" format, fully multi-coated (FMC) optics that deliver sharp, contrasty images. The Power x Switches are machined here in the USA and assembled in our maryland facility. They undergo rigorous quality control.
