Great fit / finish
I had purchased the Tak micro-focuser for my FS-102 but never got around to installing it because it wouldnt work with my somewhat hacky RoboFocus adapter.
The Starlight Instruments Feather Touch MicroFocuser puts Takahahashis add-on to shame because it is such a better fit with the FS-102s focuser. Couple it with the DSM-1 and you have a robotic focusing solution that has to be hands down the finest focusing solution I have seen. Not only does it function well with a load, but it looks aesthetically pleasing as well.
Whether you want to use a focus motor or not, this is a great focusing enhancement for your 2.7 Tak focuser.

Feather Touch for the Tak 2.7 Focuser
I had the Tak Micro-Edge Focuser for the TOA-130. While it worked fine for visual, hanging a few pounds of AP stuff on it caused the mounting plate to flex, resulting in more focusing fun than I prefer. The Feather Touch, on the other hand, mounts much more securely, and provides exceptionally rigid results - even with 5 lbs. of photography gear hung on it. Theres really no comparison between the Feather Touch and the Tak version.
