Nice eyepiece for the bucks....and no, 7 dollars shipping  isnt excessive... friend...this day and time, it is pretty much a bargain. If you wear glasses to view, this eyepiece is NOT for you...but , if you want a nice expansive ortho like view at F/6 and above, this one will work...nice flat field, the field is sharp to the edge in my scopes...I am very impressed with the eyepiece. In comparison to my  Pentax 10.5, I think I wasted my money on the Pentax. The only thing the Pentax has over this 11MM is eye relief and a warmer view....Quite frankly, I prefer a more contrasty view and this eyepiece provides that.  The only gotchais that will have to either realign your reflector, I.E. bring your primary forward, or design a 1 1/4 adaptor to allow this eyepiece to come to focus. In all my refractors...no problems. 80 degree field...ortho like view...reminds me of the TMB planetary series....except a lot less expensive!

This  a  decent  eyepiece  but  it  has  very  little  eye relief.
To  get  the  full  80 deg  field  of  view  you  have  to  get  your  eye  way  down  into  the  eyecup.
It  came  with  a bolt  style  case  but  no  box  and  no  caps.
The  correction  is  pretty  good  until  you  get  toward  the  outer  25%  of  the  field.
For  $45.00  this  a  great  value.
Anocortes  does  charge  an  excessive  $7.00  for  shipping  but  its  still  a  great  buy, provided  you  dont  need  eyeglasses  for  viewing.
