The only thing i hated on my 11 nexstar gps was the focus knob, I hated it to death! Instead of having to turn the knob, with this thing you can just rest your finger on top and it turns by just rubbing your finger lightly on top, what a smooth way to focus. The large focus knob on it does a perfect job of focusing i dont know why they have the exstra micro ajustment on it i never use it.
