Setting up a NexStar GPS scope is pretty straighforward, but setting the telescope onto the tripod in the dark can be tricky. The Landing Pad makes installing a NexStar GPS simple, even in the dark. This attaches to tripod on original NexStar GPS tripods (black).

The Landing Pad mounts to the top of the NexStar GPS tripod and guides the scope into place. Never hunt around for the centering pin again! Also, simply rotate the telescope, and it will click into position with the bolt holes already aligned with the tripod holes. No more searching around in the dark under the tripod!
The Landing Pad includes all necessary mounting hardware (including three longer bolts that replace the standard bolts which come with the telescope). The Landing Pad is made of durable aluminum and is black anodized to match the finish of the telescope and tripod. It works with all 8", 9.25" and 11" NexStar GPS telescopes.
