The Alta U4000 is a 4-megapixel interline sensor with high quantum efficiency and twice the dynamic range of similar Sony sensors. Low noise and small pixels are ideal for OEMs, biological sciences, microscopy, and fundus imaging.

This is a large format (2K x 2K x 7.4u) imager with a 4 second readout at 16 bits and more than 1 FPS at 12 bits. It uses interline technology and supports progressive scan. A shutter is not required for this system but is optional. Noise figures of 6-8e- are typical.

Best suited for refractors where a wide field and very high detail are needed. It uses interline technology and supports progressive scan. USB2 Interface.
