wonderful eye relief
If you must wear glasses, you have discovered that few binoculars have sufficient eye relief for proper use. These do (as do their 7x50s), and they are wonderful. I use them for scanning the sky while Im taking images with my telescope. If you dont have excellent stars to the edge of the field, then its probably your eyes that are the problem. These optics are nearly perfect and a simple joy to the user.

Versatile Binoculars
I have had these for two years and really enjoy using them. Some light is lost due to the 7mm exit pupil but other than that these are great. I use them for my own astonomy viewing, they are great a star parties due to their long eye relief and wide field of view, and I set them on a tripod and use them to observe some eagles from my office window. My friends at work enjoy the view.

Flat image plane?
I purchased these Binoclars from Anacortes just recently. After reading the ads about flat image plane and low distortion right to the edge of the field I thought these are my binoculars. After using them I quickly discovered that stars are severely distorted beyond 70% of the field of view. I am very disapointed. They are nice points in the center but not near the edge of the field. Maybe I got a lemon!

I bought these binoculars after testing out about 15 different premium binoculars, and I was most excited about these. I wear glasses and the eye relief is excellent and allows me to see the entire field of view with my glasses on. The Field is flat and there is no distortion all the way out to the edge of the field. The 16x70 model are more powerful, but the eye relief is much worse and the field of view smaller, so I opted for the 10x70. It is my opinion that these are absolutely the best astronomical binoculars that you can buy under $2,000.
