My Time Machine
This scope is not an apo, however it has met my needs as a highly portable and capable wide view refractor. Even at f/6 the views are spectacular and chromatic abberation is all but absent on all but the brightest of objects(I use a 2 Baader fringe killer filter that stays connected to a Williams optics diagonal). While using this setup to do lunar observation, I could not detect any purple or green halos at the lunar edges, the view was amazing using a 20mm, 66 degree eyepiece.
This scope also has really excelled not only on solar system objects, but deep space objects as well. The orion nebula has never looked so good as the view through this scope when equipped with an orion narrowband filter.
As you can tell, I really love this scope! It has truly been my time machine and has allowed me to explore not only the past, but look forward to future explorations as well.
