Hello biologists
Just stand there and watch ants...bees...butterflies...tadpoles...examine flowers.
You get the idea. A long-range hand lens. Decent optics, too. Bulky, but it doesnt weigh much.
Real fun for creepy-crawly fans.

Brunton Macroscope A Winner
I admit Im biased; I know the inventor and developer of Bruntons new Eterna Macroscope personally and got to try out the original prototype as well as the brand new finished product just introduced (although, regrettably, I have no financial interest in the product -- wish I did). Its a wonderful little scope, perfect for the weekend naturalist doing some telescopic birding and wildlife viewing or close up magnfied examination of plant, animal or geological specimens. A twist of the focus knob instantly switches you from distance to macro work and back again. Crystal clear optics, compact size, light weight and overall versatility in the field make the Macroscope a real winner. Check it out and I think youll be as impressed as Ive been with this amazing little gadget.
