This adapter threads directly into the 2.7" drawtube or the 4" to 2.7" adapter that is included with the 4" focuser. It features knife-edge baffles and the I.D. is painted flat black.

Applications:

*  For straight-through observing without a diagonal.

 *  As an extension: Remove the 2" adapter from the focuser drawtube, thread on A1008-A, then thread the 2" adapter on the other side. This 2" adapter can be either ADA200, ADA2013, ADA20132 or ADA2003. Note: you can thread two of these extensions together or with A3502, A3503 or A3504-A to form a longer tube.

While this extension can also be used with the Photographic-Visual Telecompressor, it is probably too long for most imaging configurations.

This part was redesigned in August 2009 to include a lip on the outer diameter to prevent the extension from being racked inside the focuser housing.
