Well, if you can afford the price, you really should get one unless you NEVER use as many as 5 eyepieces when viewing. I can find a star at low power very quickly, center it, and then immediately switch to a parfocal high power EP. I can stay right at the seeing limits as they change. I quickly got used to using a star diagonal for birding with my 6 Mak, and now I can quickly find the bird at low power and immdiately switch to high power. The turret is very nicely made and the 2 nosepiece and EP holders are very precisely machined and fit perfectly. The turret rotates smoothly and clicks solidly into place with no sideplay. Its good enough for the finest scopes. I use it on a high quality Russian Mak-Cass. Well done, Yuri and associates!
