Nothing but praise for this 7 lb. wonder.  The simplicity of up and down, and left to right could hardly be easier.  In no time, you can devote yourself to enjoying the views without worrying about the mount.

Its sturdy, rock-solid and built to last a long time.

As far as portability, just one bolt connects it to the tripod of your choice, and did I mention it only weighs about 7 lbs.
