Construction:
The brackets in this system are designed to stand up to the rigors of professional photography. They incorporate the quality of construction that you've come to expect from Wimberley products. Aluminum components are milled from solid 6061 T6 aluminum and are black anodized. Fasteners are stainless steel.
Modular Design:
The bracket system is modular. The Components of the system connect to one another simply and securely without tools. Connections are solid and cannot twist, creep, or slip apart. All knobs are captive (no small parts to lose). The modular design allows you to easily disassemble any bracket for convenient storage. It also allows you to adjust the size of the bracket to fit different sized lenses or to mix and match parts to form different brackets for different needs.
Quick Release Attachment:
This system is designed to integrate with the Arca-Swiss style quick release system.
The brackets attach to your lens or camera plate using a special narrow, low profile quick release clamp. Thus the brackets attach easily without tools, and there are no screws to lose. You can attach the brackets to any lens with a long Arca-Swiss style plate or even to your camera body plate. The Brackets work particularly well with new Wimberley lens plates.
