The Tele Vue starbeam is very easy to use and very well made.   The starbeam is even useable in day light if you’re not in direct sun light.   I would recommend it to anyone.   I had doubts about the flip mirror but it works well, very easy to locate your target.

Extremely well-built (overbuilt, actually).  Solid and well machined, as usual with all Televue products.  Easy to use and accurate after sighting-in.  The flip mirror is great on a refractor when looking towards the zenith.  Bulls-eye would be nice, but turning down the brightness of the red dot works just as well.  Its made to be left on the scope rather than removed when packing up.  Very happy with it.
