8x30 Predator Pro

Compact, rugged, reliable and ready for a variety of applications, the 8x30 Predator Pro is the perfect choice for woods and wide open spaces and anytime a wide field of view is required.  The Predator Pro features Steiner's exclusive Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coating that enhances brown and red colors against foliated backgrounds, making game subjects "pop" from green foliated background. Using a new proprietary coating system, Steiner's new 8x30 Predator Pro offers bright images with high contrast.

The new 8x30 Predator Pro features Steiner's automatic focus system that, once set for the user's eyes, keeps all subjects in focus at distances from approximately 20 yards to infinity. The auto focus allows hunters to scan an entire landscape without having to readjust focus. Steiner's proprietary optical design gives the 8x30 this exceptionally large depth of field. The advantage is that the binocular is always ready, and there's never any lost opportunity while trying to focus on a distant target.

The Predator Pro's rubber armoring has also been re-engineered so it emits almost no noise during handling. The new NBR rubber is durable and offers great grip in wet weather, and the forest green color blends with a woodland setting and most camo patterns.   The greatest feature of the NBR-Longlife armoring is that the rubber armor will last two to three times longer than on previous models. With 20mm of ample eye relief and soft, fold-down eyecups, eyeglass wearers will have no difficulty whether they choose to wear their glasses or not.

The 8x30 Predator Pro includes attached objective caps, rain-guard, neck-strap and a padded ballistic nylon case (black) with strap.    A Body Harness system is available; item no. 984.

Hunters And Outdoorsmen Now Can Have The "Eyes" of A Predator Pro

Hunters and outdoorsmen can now experience the keen vision and sharp eyes of a predator thanks to Steiner's 8x30 Predator Pro binocular.

Specifically designed to aid in the detection of game hidden by foliage and difficult light conditions, the Steiner Predator Pro features the same game sensing Penetrator lens coating system that has been successfully utilized in Steiner's rifle scopes. The Predator's "Penetrator" coating adds contrast to woodland colors making detection of game against a wooded or camouflaged background easier to see for the human eye. The Predator Pro employs the military design and construction that has made Steiner binoculars legendary in the optics industry. Shockproof to 11G's and guaranteed against fogging or leakage, the Predator Pro can withstand the toughest use and most adverse weather conditions.

Especially useful, is Steiner's automatic focus system, which creates a depth of field from approximately 20 yards to infinite distance that is sharp and clear without the need to refocus. Simply set your initial setting at a distance of at least 20 yards or meters. The high depth of field will make spotting and discovery more effective since all subjects in the viewing field are in focus.

With a long eye relief of 20mm and wrap-around eyecups, the Predator Pro provides eyeglass wearers with full field of vision and blocks out distracting side light. The darker forest green rubber armoring on the Predator Pro conceals the viewer from his quarry and ensures a slip-proof grip in all conditions.

The Predator Pro does exceptionally well in   thick, piney conditions like this, adding contrast to the image by boosting red and brown color. The 8x30 is perfect for early to mid Fall scouting and beyond into later Fall colors.(Photo was taken on October 25th in Pennsylvania)
