As soon as you open the box and pick this finely machined scope up, the weight and feel tell you youre holding a very high quality instrument.  From opening the box to viewing Sol, youre looking at less than 15 minutes.  I purchased a Sol Searcher with this scope and it is a must.  The minimal assembly goes as easily as it does fast.  The views are grand, the focuser is precise and it looks like a work of art.  I have always thought function should come before form, but more often than not, great looking equipment performs like it appears.  Whether youre looking for an entry level scope or something for more serious study or photography, you cant go wrong with this Lunt.  I cant believe they can sell it for what they do.  I also purchased the Meade GOTO alt/az mount and couldnt be happier with the package.  As a bonus, I received this three months ahead of schedule.  It was definitely worth the wait.
