A great high powered Plossl
I had purchased the UWA Meades to capture Mars in its transition but found 2 Tak Les which made viewing the Red Planet better...Not saying the Meade UWAs arent very good planetary pieces, I just like the LE 5mm better...Good eye relief and the optical quality as with any Tak item is truly hard to beat...I highly recommend the 5mm LE for those wanting a great high powered plossl! Easy 10 stars!

Great contrast and sharpness
The title says it all. Very sharp views and extremely confortable eye relief. This is my favorite planetary eyepiece. The FOV is a bit small for a Dobsonian, but if your scope is on a tracking mount, this is the planetary/globular eyepiece to own.

Tak LE-5 ED
This is my favorite high mag eyepiece. Sharp across the field, bright, and with very high contrast. Excellent performance in both of my Tak refractors and my 10in f6 Dob. Only edged out a slight bit by some of the high end orthos, but the LE-5 has much better eye relief and wider field.

Almost too much power for my 6 Dob. But on good
nights the contrast and detail are stunning. Nice wide
field (52 deg) for this much power. I gave it a 9 only
because on rare occasions Ive seen some color. Very
fleeting and just a hint, but otherwise an awesome
eyepiece. Its the one I grab for lunar and planetary
detail.

Excellent eyepiece
Has excellent on-axis and edge sharpness even with low f-ratio scopes, with superb contrast. Comfortable eye relief (10mm) for this focal length. A great planetary eyepiece, and fine for smaller clusters and nebulae.
