The range of the Paramount ME's "built-in" latitude adjustment is from 15º to 58º. The Paramount ME Latitude Adjustment Wedge is designed so that the Paramount ME achieve polar alignment at latitudes between 0-15 and 58-90 degrees. In other words, with the Latitude Adjustment Wedge, the Paramount ME's right ascension axis can be adjusted anywhere from 0º to 90º.

Essentially, in regards to the Paramount ME''''s'' setup, initialization and performance, the Latitude Adjustment Wedge is an "invisible" component.
