The most sensitive cost effective Back Illuminated CCD we offer, especially well suited for astronomy. Once you have imaged with one of these, it is hard to go back to front illuminated CCDs. This CCD has 13u pixels, 1K x 1K and a very broad and high QE curve. A fast readout time (less than 2 seconds), combined with <6-10e noise makes this camera very powerful.

The Alta U47 has a midband or broadband coated back-illuminated full frame megapixel sensor with very high quantum efficiency. Low noise and large field-of-view are ideal for spectroscopy and astronomy.
