The MM-640 Zoom Digital Microscope is compatible with the following: Mac OSX 10.4 or later, Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

A USB 2.0 port is required.

To save the image you are viewing with your e-Pix Digital Microscope, simply press the shutter button on the top of the microscope and the image will be captured and displayed in a separate window.

Click on File and select Save from the drop-down menu, and the image is yours to keep!

Lots of fun for the family

Admittedly, youll see more detail with a modestly priced laboratory microscope, but I think the images are good, and the all-in-one convience is great. Its very easy to use. My biggest complaint is the small (VGA) picture file. Great for grade-school science projects. A student could take pictures of, say, different insect wings for a school project. It also takes reasonably good videos which can be shown to friends or classmates. A remarkable product for the price, in my opinion.
