The David H. Levy Guide to the Stars series of star charts were designed with the beginner in mind. Each has black stars on a white wheel to make the charts easier to use in the dark.

Basic instructions are indicated on the front with more detail on the back. The back of the chart is loaded with information including a list of the major meteor showers, the names of the Moon’s phases, space history and an observing list for binoculars and small telescopes. The chart can be used for latitudes 30 to 50 degrees North.

This 11-inch version is made of durable coated card stock.
