Two motors are controlled by a JMI Dual-Control Hand Unit which has a switch to select the motor one wishes to use. MicroSlew consists of a battery operated hand control with two electric motors that attach to the axes of a telescope mount—usually an alt-azimuth mount—for micro slewing in each axis. With the hand control, the motor is first selected then slewing can be accomplished in either direction on that axis.
