This binocular performs really well for a compact. Sturdily made with pleasing optical quality. Sharp, well corrected optics with good image brightness for the small aperture. Superior in this respect to some very expensive brands of roofs I have looked through.
Unique pop out button for adjusting between eyes and true watertight optics. They sit well around the neck when on a brisk walk.  Obviously these binoculars fall down at dusk and dawn compared to bigger apertures with larger exit pupils. Lovely to hold and composite body is sturdy. Unique groove for fingers when viewing which adds to good ergonomics, focus wheel is smooth.  Eyepieces have enough eye relief for eye glass viewing just!! with eyecups twisted down. Pentax make great gear at a fair price. I find these hold up well for birding in daylight conditions. I may get some of these for a present for relatives, they are so nifty. The close focus is lovely when viewing birds or insects. A bargain at the asking price.
