Because your privacy is important to us, Anacortes Telescope and Wild Bird (ATWB) operates our online site according to the following principles:

We only ask for what we need to provide a useful service.
ATWB collects information during the registration process to operate the AstroBird classifieds and when you make an online purchase. ATWB explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). The Personal Information ATWB collects includes first and last name, address and phone number, email address, and web site URL. You may update your AstroBird Personal Information at any time from the ATWB web site by clicking on "Modify my seller info" on the AstroBird Classifieds page. You may update your Personal Information related to online purchases by sending email to us at support@buytelescopes.com. 

We do not disclose your personal information.
Your Personal Information is used for shipping and contacting you about purchases; operation of the AstroBird Classifieds; and to display appropriate individual information with any ad(s) that you place on AstroBird. ATWB  keeps all of your Personal Information private and does not share it with any third parties. ATWB will not disclose your Personal Information unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of ATWB; (3) act to protect the interests of AstroBird members or others.

We do not send unnecessary information.
ATWB will not send you any unsolicited information, including e-mail, except as mentioned below. New users may receive a welcome message explaining the features provided by AstroBird, but we do not do this at the present time. ATWB may also send email if we make important changes to the site that may affect any ads that you have placed or purchases you make. We will, at your request, not send you any promotional email. ATWB will when appropriate notify users by email about important service changes, new features, technical issue updates and news about other ATWB products and services. ATWB may also contact you to conduct research about your opinion of current and prospective services via e-mail surveys. ATWB may from time to time contact you about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. ATWB will not share your e-mail address with any external business partners. If you click on any link to an external web site, be sure to review their privacy statement before sharing your personal information, as ATWB is not responsible for their content.
