Astro-Tech offers a range of telescopes. The Astro-Tech Imaging Newtonian Optical Tube is an extremely fast focal ratio f/4 reflector that is optimized for very wide field deep space imaging. Astro-Tech AT72ED 72mm f/6 ED Doublet Refractor can be used as a low-power rich field telescope, as a medium-power planetary telescope, or as any kind of telescope in between. It has dual-speed rotating 2” Crayford focuser with 10:1 ratio fine focusing. Astro-Tech offers several FPL-53 Triplet Apochromatic Refrators. They are true FPL-53 triplet apochromatic optical systems with a collimatable lens cells. The scope has a dual speed 2.7" rack-and-pinion focuser with a microfine 11:1 fine-focusing ratio and the focuser can rotate a full 360°. Astro-Tech’s Ritchey-Chrétien Astrograph series are designed for astrographic imaging performance. They have
true Ritchey-Chrétien hyperbolic mirror optical designs.
This 12.75" long Astro-Tech accessory dovetail rail mounts on top of the Astro-Tech AT6RC 6" Ritchey-Chrétien astrograph using existing holes in the scope’s front and rear cells.

The images from the 430mm f/6 ED air-spaced doublet optics of this Astro-Tech AT72ED refractor are virtually free from spurious color (chromatic aberration), even at high magnifications. At its low price, the optical performance is little short of astonishing.
