Simple, powerful, and low cost! These were the design goals for the ST-402ME camera: We wanted something simple and easy to use yet powerful enough to carry the "ST" model prefix. Beginning in March 2006 we made the enhanced cooling package standard on the ST-402ME cameras.

This CCD has the same array architecture as the KAF-0401E NABG with some improvements. Of greatest significance is the increased quantum efficiency due to the addition of a microlens array over the pixels and the use of MAR coated cover glass. The peak quantum efficiency for the KAF-0402ME used in all three models of ST-7XME cameras is almost 85%.

This SBIG camera comes with a TC-237H Tracking CCD, High Speed USB interfacing, a Universal 90-240VAC power supply, a T-hreaded mounting ring, a 1.25" Nosepiece w/T-threads, USB, Power and Tracking Cables, CCDOPS version 5, Carrying Case and Water Cooling Heat Exchanger.
|
The ST-2000XCM and ST-2000XCMI cameras are the same, except that the ST-2000XCMI does not include the built-in TC-237H tracking CCD and some of the accessories that are included with the ST-2000XM. In March of 2006 we also added the Remote Guide Head Port to both the single sensor ST-2000XCMI and dual sensor ST-2000XM cameras.

SBIG’s third version of a weatherproof AllSky camera for monitoring weather conditions. The sensor is the Kodak KAI-340 CCD, with 640x480 pixels, 7.4 microns square, and a high gain output stage for excellent sensitivity. The camera electronics and CCD are from the soon to be released Smart Guider camera, our new autonomous guide camera.

Our customers have been invaluable sources of inspiration and direction. It was in direct response to customer inquiries that we developed the ST-2000XM. Now those who wanted something bigger and better but at a lower price than the ST-8 or ST-10 have got what they asked for. The ST-2000XM has been developed to meet the needs of the astro-imager.

The ST-9XE is perfect for such things as astrometry and supernova searches with larger telescopes. It uses a Class 1 "E" CCD with high QE and no column defects. It includes the built-in TC-237H tracking CCD, Remote Guiding Head Port, custom carrying case, water cooling heat exchanger, relay adapter plug, relay cables for self-guiding, and extra software.
|
The ST-9XEI is the single sensor version of the ST-9XE with no internal guiding CCD, however it does include the Remote Guiding Head Port for attachment of an optional external guiding head at any time. The imaging CCD is also a Class 1 KAF-0261E with no column defects.
|
This CCD features a peak QE of nearly 85%, 1530 x 1020 pixels at 9 microns square, and multiple AR coatings on the CCD window for increased light transmission and significantly reduced reflections. The ST-8XME camera also includes a TC-237H CCD with 657 x 495 pixels at 7.4 microns for self-guiding and a Remote Guiding Head Port.
|
Package includes the STF-8300 color camera, filter wheel spacer, OAG-8300 off-axis guider and custom Pelican case. [Illustrated with ST-i Autoguider and Planet Cam]
