LWRC International, LLC was founded to pursue the development of a short-stroke gas-piston operated version of the AR15/M16/M4 family of weapons. Research and development efforts have resulted in the LWRC family of M6 short-stroke, gas-piston operated rifles and carbines, which improve on the direct impingement system by operating cleaner, quieter, and with greater accuracy - and they do so with greater reliability and longer service life. LWRCI's engineering team consists of dedicated professionals who have been nationally recognized in both the firearms and defense communities for the development of LWRC International’s patented self-regulating short-stroke, gas-piston system.

LWRCI M6 rifle is our basic model. It sports all of the standard features found on the legacy M4 carbine, thus allowing for immediate familiarity to today’s warfighter or law enforcement professional. But, underneath the familiar exterior, lies a revolutionary twist. Like all LWRCI rifles, the M6 rifle features our patented short-stroke gas-piston operating system, our NiCorr treated hammer forged barrels, and our specially coated bolts.
The LWRCI M6A1 rifle is our SOPMOD M4 equivalent rifle. It is a standard carbine available in various barrel lengths and chambered in either 5.56mm NATO or 6.8mm SPC. The M6A1 rifle features a carbine length free float rail system with a removable return-to-zero top. Any M4 MIL Std 1913 accessory can be mounted to the rail.
The LWRCI M6A2 rifle is ideal for those who utilize optical sights as it employs a low-profile gas block. There is no A-frame front sight to obscure the field of view of the optical device. The M6A2 rifle also features a longer midlength free float rail system with a removable return-to-zero top. The M6A2 rifle defines itself as the most modern and incrementally evolved carbine in the world.
The LWRCI M6A3 rifle features our midlength short-stroke gas piston system that is the perfect blend of tactical carbine and sniper-capable rifle. The midlength operating system’s softer recoil allows for faster return-totarget and follow-up shots. The M6A3 rifle features our adjustable gas system. Four positions (Off, Suppressed, Normal, and Adverse), which allow for optimum performance in any situation.
