A short adapter cable to connect an Encoder to an Encoder Cable. The "inline" connector slides unto the protruding electrical contacts on the encoder and the "RJ-11" connector accepts the standard modular plug on the encoder cable. This allows the encoder cable to be easily disconnected just like you would disconnect a telephone cable from the wall jack.
