Effectively cleans filmy residue at the microscopic level. Increases resolution and light transmission, restoring optics to their original performance level. Will not damage optical coatings. Also reduces dew formation.

Orion Soft Rubber Eyeguard. Blocks annoying ambient light and helps you position your eye. Soft Rubber Eyeguard is especially important for wide-field eyepieces. Soft Rubber Eyeguard stretches to fit most 1.25" eyepieces.

Rigid anodized aluminum bar for coupling guidescope and guidescope rings to a telescope.
|
Equatorial mount adapter for SkyView Pro and Atlas Mounts. Provides threaded post for attaching instruments equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded socket.
|
Aluminum plate couples MegaViews' built-in 1/4"-20 post to Paragon-Plus Binocular Mount.
|
Our cast-aluminum tube rings feature quick-release, hinged clamp knobs and felt lining. Designed for use with Orion mounts, they fit some other brands of mounts as well. One of the two rings in each set has a 1/4"-20 piggyback camera adapter on it, the other has a threaded 1/4"-20 hole.

Use this adapter in combination with a Wide T-ring to minimize vignetting of images on a 35mm film frame in prime focus photography. Less vignetting occurs than when T-ring is coupled to standard 43mm or 36.4mm adapters. The threaded side of this adapter screws into the focuser drawtube, while the flanged side fits into the Wide T-ring (with inner ring removed per instructions) attached to the camera.

The custom-designed Mars Observation filter enhances contrast of virtually all surface features. Dielectric coatings transmit violet/blue (<505nm) and orange/red (>615nm) wavelengths where detail is rich, while blocking overbearing yellow/green (515nm-615nm) wavelengths. Polar icecaps appear more sharply defined, and differences in landscape shading are nicely resolved.
|
The Polar-Axis finder Scope enables highly accurate polar alignment of the SkyView Pro equatorial mount. Accurate polar alignment is essential for precise tracking, particularly at high power, and for astrophotographic guiding.

Orion tele-extenders permit high-magnification "eyepiece projection" photography of the Moon and planets with a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Orion tele-extenders are designed to fit all Celestron and Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.

Orion HighLight Plössls is our exclusive, premium line of 1.25" Plössl eyepieces with some noteworthy enhancements. HighLight eyepieces offer a generous 52° field of view (43° for the 40mm) and crisp, sharp images. The HighLights' 4-element optics are fully multi-coated -- every air-to-glass lens surface is multi-layer coated for the highest possible light transmission and better contrast.

Light pollution is waging war on amateur astronomy. But don't surrender — fight back with this 1.25" Orion SkyGlow Broadband Telescope Filter! This 1.25" SkyGlow Broadband Telescope Filter is an advanced multilayer "interference" filter that blocks the most common wavelengths of light pollution while passing desirable wavelengths with very little attenuation, yielding dramatically better deep-sky views.

Amazing quality 2" 38mm super-wide angle eyepiece at an unbeatable price. Super-wide 70 degree apparent field of view gives you that unforgettable "lost in space" feeling. Five multi-coated lens elements made of high index glass deliver sharp, high contrast vistas. Luxurious 20mm eye relief and parfocal design provide comfort and convenience, while beautifully made with machined housings.

With most eyepieces, stars look sharp in the center of the field of view, but start getting fuzzy and flared toward the edge. To get better, "flat-field" performance, you have to pay big bucks for exotic ocular designs.

Orion Edge-On Planetary telescope eyepieces let you push the power, whether you're canvassing the lunar terminator or studying the Jovian cloud belts. The optics are fully multi-coated for high light transmission, and each eyepiece has 20mm eye relief for viewing comfort. Each eyepiece employs a sophisticated 7-element lens design reminiscent of exotic, high-priced oculars.
