Active flares and coronal mass ejections (CME) travel at high velocity towards the observer, which results in their wavelength being Doppler shifted shorter than Ha. If the velocity is high enough, this wavelength could be outside the passband of the filter and the feature would not be observable. The T-Max allows the user to de-tune the Solarmax slightly to bring such phenomena into better visibility.
The Lunt Wedge is designed to replace the standard Lunt Solar Systems 2" White Light Solar Wedgediagonal at the rear end
of your refracting telescope. Unlike front mounted filters the Wedge
transmits a safe level of full spectrum light providing true white light
views.
The 5mm BF-15 is to be used on telescopes with a focal length up to 500mm. The Blocking Filter is not a stand alone filter. It is an integral part of the Coronado design and cannot be used without a SolarMax series filter on the front of the optical system.

The Blocking Filter is the second element in any Coronado H-Alpha system, it is just as crucial to your safety and the system's performance as the front element. If you are switching to a longer focal length telescope your SolarMax system you can purchase blocking filters separately. The BF-10 to be used on telescopes with a focal length <1000mm. The blocking filter is not a stand alone filter.

Prominences and some surface detail can quickly be viewed thru this very portable single stack system. Add it to an existing system or use as a quick grab and go.

The LS60THa is a complete Solar Telescope. The refractor based system has a precision aligned singlet chromatic lens with a 60 mm aperture. The front singlet lens reduces the stray-light over an achromat by half. With the matched collimation lens set, it also fully corrects for on axis coma, astigmatism and de-centering aberrations and provides a full spherically corrected flat-field Solar-Telescope.
